If you stay still for long enough in Sonic CD, then you'll get a game over	Easy	Patience	Confirmed	Stand and don't touch any buttons or move, after 3 minutes Sonic will say "I'm outta here" and jump off the screen and you'll get a game over and return to the title screen.
The Bad Future is canon from Sonic CD	Easy	Spooky	Busted	This is one of two endings in the game, the good ending where Sonic defeated Eggman and saved Amy Rose, the bad ending where Sonic doesn't Defeat Eggman and uses time stones to come back, whenever we see levels from Sonic CD come back in later Sonic games it shows the bad future of said levels claiming to be the canon, although from one example Stardust Speedway in Sonic Generations Eggman messes with Time and Dimensions to achieve this bad ending.
